GOVERNMENT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR TOBACCO DEATHS

Tobacco kills. Government supports the tobacco barons because it benefits greatly from their taxes. Thus, government is largely responsible for the thousands of tobacco related deaths and illnesses every year. Tobacco tax is blood money.

Anyone who smokes is suicidal.

To smoke in the presence of others, especially children, is murder.

ROBERT BEALE AND THE ST. LEONARD CRISIS

Robert Beale was the president of the St. Leonard Home and School Association in Montreal in 1967, when the St. Leonard school board insisted that children of immigrants within its jurisdiction receive unilingual French education and cracked down on families' rights to choose to have their children educated in the English language. Bobby Beale opposed the removal of English instruction from the schools and he set up a clandestine organization to by-pass the hated legislation.

It was widely known that Montreal's Italian mafia hated the separatists. Paolo Violi despised the nationalist extremists and one report describes how he offered Bobby Beale "moral support".

In the book "Iced: The Story of Organized Crime in Canada" by Stephen Schneider, Anne Charney quotes Bobby Beale about his experience with Paolo Violi, "If he saw me passing by, he would call me over, invite me in for a coffee and tell me what a great job I was doing. He would say, "My Boy - he always called me that - we admire you and we appreciate this."

In fact, Paolo Violi did a lot more than give Bobby Beale "moral support". Charney reports that Violi stationed men at Beale's home to protect him.

Bobby told me himself how a woman in his family had been brutally attacked by three separatist thugs. She was warned of even worse if Bobby persisted in resisting the separatists' cause. This story was never published and I will not, even after all these years, describe what occurred or provide any details. But there was good reason for the Beale family to need protection.

I worked with Bobby Beale during that crisis. I can't remember how we first met, but I remember vividly going to work as a volunteer at an office over a small garage on Everett Street in St. Leonard that specialized in installing car radios. What we were doing was covertly arranging for children from St. Leonard to be transported to secret locations - mostly churches or home basements - where they were being taught in English.

One day I was invited into the office of the owner of the garage. I don't remember the nature of the conversation. I think he just wanted to meet me  - or keep an eye on me until Bobby arrived that day. But I can still see the big man sitting there behind a big old desk smoking a big cigar. I was scared, and the stench of that cigar churned my stomach. I knew where I was. I was alone. But I forced myself to stay calm. In my mind, it was not about organized crime - just the little crime of side-stepping a bad law for the sake of the children, their parents, our Canadian identity, and freedom. I was on the side of the Italian Canadian children of St. Leonard whose families were protesting a law that smothered their right to use the English language.

In 1971, as the language crisis continued with terrible violence, I hopped on a bus and joined a huge demonstration on Parliament Hill. There, it didn't matter if you only spoke Italian or English or French. The salami and wine and bread were shared and we managed to communicate with a little of this and a little of that. Quand on veut, on peut. When you want to, you can.

The photo of the protest in front of the Parliament of Canada was on the front page of the Montreal Star the next day. You can't see my face in the crowd, but you can see my poster clearly. It reads -

FREE MAN CHOKES
ON FORCE-FED LANGUAGE

Phyllis Mass Carter

From Wikipedia, the Free Encyclopedia and Other Sources

An Act to promote the French language in Quebec of 1969 also known as Bill 63, was a language law passed in the Canadian of Quebec. The law was passed by the Union Nationale government because of controversy and violence that erupted when the Catholic school board of St. Leonard, Quebec insisted that children of mostly Italian immigrants be forced to go to French schools.

Bill 63, Law promoting the French language in Quebec. (Nov 1969), required children receiving their education in English to acquire a working knowledge of French and required everything to be done so that immigrants acquired the knowledge of French upon arrival in Québec.

In 1967, the school board of St-Léonard (Montréal) had insisted that children of immigrants within its jurisdiction receive unilingual French education.

Anglophone opposition caused the Union Nationale government to introduce Bill 85, which never passed the parliamentary committee stage.

The Gendron Commission was then established to investigate language problems in Québec, but when a compromise proposed by the St-Léonard school board trustees led to violent demonstrations, the government introduced Bill 63 without awaiting the commission's recommendations.
Bill 63 aroused unprecedented opposition among Québec's francophone population who believed it was too weak a measure. It was eventually repealed and replaced by the more comprehensive Bill 22.

In 1974, the act was superseded by the Official Language Act.

One Essay At A Time

TO THE READER

The reader will find more than 200 articles here. All have one focus - justice.

There are no games or recipes to be found here. Only first-hand reports and essays that are presented to share truth with those who are seeking it earnestly.

The topics of my essays include detailed reports of crimes and abuses in our injustice system - by the police, the courts, the so-called "human rights" organizations and politicians. You will read about specific crimes to which I was a witness and about abuse victims for whom I have been an advocate.

There are also first-hand reports of abuses and life-threatening negligence in a Montreal hospital. You will find a chilling report on how an experienced emergency room doctor almost killed me and how a caring, brilliant oncologist saved my life.

You will also find personal stories about several very special people whom I have known and loved, people who deserve to be remembered, fondly. I share these stories with you to keep alive the memories of these precious people who have brightened my life, encouraged and inspired me - Buck Fortin, Michael Steeler, Wally Aspell and Bobby Beale to name a few. And my father, George Rubin of Metropolitan News Agency in Montreal, who taught me just about everything that made me the person I am.

You will find excerpts from my book, A Portrait of Asgar and The Plight of Kashmir, a true report about my experience with a very brilliant but modest Islamic scholar, Sayed Asgar Ali Razwy, and the history of the land he so loved - that troubled paradise, Kashmir, torn apart for centuries by conflict.

You will find detailed, graphic reports of the robbery by Dawn McSweeney that destroyed my family - with the help of the Montreal Police - and reports of my experiences as a private investigator for West End Investigation and Pinkerton, and as a singer on stage with my beloved husband, Cliff Carter, Mr. Nostalgia of RCA Records and Thrill of a Lifetime. I share with you our true love story in the hope that you may believe in real love and seek to share it.

You will read my report of my strange encounter with Charles De Gaulle at Expo '67, and my experiences during the October Crisis. What is a Distinct Society? Free Man Chokes on Force-fed Language.

You will read about my encounters with politicians and musicians and adventurers -and scrappers like me, who insist on making the world just a little better even when everyone else scoffs and goes back to sleep.

You will read about how, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, in the Twenty-first Century, a little gang of criminals that call themselves the "partners in crime" were able to obtain a court order declaring that I was insane and dangerous. Read about The Phyllis Carter Detention and Condemned in Four Minutes - in Absentia. Read the hate messages posted on my blog by Alex Lavergne, Dawn McSweeney's "partner in crime." written under the nom de plume The Ink.

And you can read about Member of Parliament, Marlene Jennings, who stated twice at public meetings in Montreal in 2008, "Mrs. Carter's rights were violated three times."

Montreal Police Dodge, Stifle and Bury Vital Reports - When Sabrina tried to start a tenants association in a tenement on Pierrefonds Blvd. in the West Island in Montreal, she nearly lost her life. It turned out the janitors were members of a motorcycle gang known to police. But the police Sabrina summoned to the scene failed to make a report of the attempt to burn her alive in her car in the building's garage and even the Montreal Police detectives providing protection for Sabrina and her husband were dismayed when the criminals walked away from the court room smiling.

Sabrina's case was extreme, but I also served as advocate to a young student couple, Xiuwei and Xiaolin, who had just been welcomed as new Canadian citizens when their slum landlord in Cote des Neiges showed them that Canadian "justice" was not much different than that of the land they had fled. Read - Quebec Courts - Let's Make a Deal.

Who Can You Trust? For five years, I sponsored a little girl in Ethiopia. Then one day I received a letter from World Vision telling me that "the project" was over, and advising me to choose another child to support. I know how I felt when I read that letter. Choose another puppy? I can't imagine how the child and her family felt. I fought like crazy to be allowed to keep in touch with Etagegne Birhanu. But World Vision refused. I am a senior citizen living on my government pensions. I do not
finance "projects". I just wanted to help one little girl in Ethiopia. Where is she now?

I have published an index of the archive for the convenience of the reader. It is a cornucopia that offers information, personal experiences, insights, encouragement, inspiration, delights and - above all - truth.

I write day and night - sharing truth with those who love good people, animals, the earth and justice. I write for those who have a conscience and a heart, and for those who have felt alone, victims of injustice and helpless in the face of a cold, cold political system. I write for you who yearn for change and who may now consider how you may cause the change you desire.

Dig in here and see what may inspire you to change your life. Will you pick up the Sword of Truth and fight for justice too?

AND THE SLAVES SANG - FORGIVENESS IS THE PROBLEM

I believe that Christianity was largely responsible for the success of slavery in America. Human beings from Africa, by their labour and suffering, supported the economy of America. These so-called "savages" were kept under control by the lash - but perhaps more so, by the indoctrination into Christianity. They were taught to be peaceful, docile, and obedient to their white masters, forgiving them for their trespasses in return for the most meagre living conditions and a promise of reward in heaven.

And so the wounded and scarred and raped and humiliated African people prayed as they picked the cotton and reaped tobacco under the scorching sun. And they sang to the Lord melodiously.

To this day, so many of the descendents of the African slaves are devout Christians who continue to forgive their white masters. They are among the sweetest, kindest people you will ever meet in church. But many of their grandchildren are rebellious and we see them on the television news and wonder why.

Phyllis Carter

I present here arguments for and against forgiveness. This is an exchange with a Facebook friend. I have deleted her family name and mended some of her spelling, but I have not altered her message.

Hi Phyllis.
I read something about the police not helping you. I was a victim too, but by the police. I was living in California..just 12 miles from here. I am disabled and was falsely accused by angry neighbours who were mad because I asked them to keep the music turned down since I had just gotten out of the hospital. I don't want to get into all of the details because it will infuriate me all over again, but I will tell you, that the police violated my constitutional rights without punishment. God have mercy on them individually as they had mercy on me when they meet Him. I'm sorry that happened to you; and to me. We live in a fallen world. I'm sorry.

From my heart to yours, Robin.
We live many miles apart, but are victims of the same heartless system where authorities can abuse the innocent without any consequences. At least now, with the Internet, we - the victims - can join together around the world and cry out against these injustices. We are no longer silent and we are no longer alone. I invite you to read my blogs. You won't need Agatha Christie.

Thank you Phyllis. Very nice to meet you. All I know is, like it says in the Bible, that the wicked wont go unpunished forever. There IS a God who loves us and hypocrites will pay greatly in their time to come. Better to be punished here instead of after out spirits leave our bodies because that's forever. Here, it's temporary. That's the comfort I find even though there are times when I'd like to see it happen now. With all my heart I know that God wont let this slide. We all die physically and we all answer to the creator of the universe

I will read your blogs. Thank you again and Happy Holidays to you. --  Robin.

Dear Phyllis. I too have health issues from stress and life in general. There are times when it is extremely difficult to go beyond our hurt and anger to forgive those who have wronged us. I see that this is eating you up and will only add to your health problems and upset. My mom reminds me now and then to forgive. Forgiveness isn't for those who wronged us, it's for us so that we are set free from the bondage of our pain. To allow unforgiveness only aids our enemies to continue to harm us. How ? Well they certainly aren't losing any sleep over anything, nor are they living in continuous torment. God WILL deal with them. Look at what was done to Jesus. His reply was, "Father forgive them for they know not what they do". In Revelations it's very clear what God has planned for those who do the things they do. You have fought long and hard. You have been in misery far too long Phyllis. ..Let it go now. What they -  Dawn - did was horribly wrong, but let God deal with her. He knows her through and through. He knows what to do and He WILL deal with her when the time is right. Don't let this eat you up. Read Mathew 6:14, 19-20+ ..? Jesus spoke of similar matters. About thieves breaking in to steal and forgiving them. Forgiveness sets us free from our lack of peace, and from our hurt and anger, when we let go and let God deal with it. Forget about when, etc. Forgiveness also helps preserve our souls. When we die, we dont take any possessions with us. The only single thing we have that we take with us is our souls/spirits. God is Spirit. Let Him deal with your niece. Focus instead on living your time remaining, in peace. The only person who can take your soul from you, is God...Our creator who gave us life to begin with. NO ONE on this earth can rob you of that. ...Not even Dawn...unless you let her. I hope this helps you. You deserve better than days and nights filled with misery, anger and sadness. It's truly not worth stressing over. God is your provider. He gives us what we need and more. Your memories are in your heart. So much was taken from me more than just a few times. People are cruel and those who have wronged us? Who has words for them? I don't. There have been so many times when I felt, and now and then, I still feel so bewildered and enraged. And when I feel like that, after I've voiced it to God, I'm reminded of his love, his forgiveness for things I've done in my life that weren't always right, and forgiveness is what sets me free when I feel angry for those who have done me wrong. Everyone dies, and so will they when their time here is finished. Live each day to it's fullest Phyllis. Go outside and take note of the beauty you see. Flowers, trees, the beauty in the eyes of animals and in children and notice all of the beauty around us. Go to a movie...a very funny one. Sing and dance when you feel horrible. Music always helps me feel better. We cant control what others do to us, we can only control how we react to the situation and those who've wronged us. I hope this helps you. Take care Phyllis and stay strong. Merry Christmas. -- Robin.

FORGIVENESS :

Thank you very much for taking the time to write about this, Robin. I have heard all this before and I do not agree. I am glad we live in a society where people are free to think differently, but after decades of bible study and serious consideration, I conclude that injustice thrives because the church has taught victims to forgive. In that way, the good suffer and die while the evil ones thrive and multiply. I welcome your friendship and good will but I will not keep you as a Facebook friend if I see messages like this. I must reserve all my strength to fight for justice. Those who plead for forgiveness for criminals drain my energy and I have none to spare. I have serious battles to fight so that the innocent might have a chance to survive crime and injustice while good people pray for God to help them.

I sincerely wish you well.

Phyllis

Here I present some brief excerpts on the history of slavery in America.

1619

The other crucial event that would play a role in the development of America was the arrival of Africans to Jamestown. A Dutch slave trader exchanged his cargo of Africans for food in 1619. The Africans became indentured servants, similar in legal position to many poor Englishmen who traded several years labor in exchange for passage to America. The popular conception of a racial-based slave system did not develop until the 1680's. (A Brief History of Jamestown, The Association for the Preservation of Virginia Antiquities, Richmond, VA 23220.

Although the number of African American slaves grew slowly at first, by the 1680s they had become essential to the economy of Virginia. During the 17th and 18th centuries, African American slaves lived in all of England's North American colonies. Before Great Britain prohibited its subjects from participating in the slave trade, between 600,000 and 650,000 Africans had been forcibly transported to North America. ("Immigration," Microsoft Encarta 98 Encyclopedia. Microsoft Corporation.)

In fact, the first twenty "Negar" slaves had arrived from the West Indies in a Dutch vessel and were sold to the governor and a merchant in Jamestown in late August of 1619, as reported by John Rolfe to John Smith back in London. (Robinson, Donald L. Slavery and the Structure of American Politics, 1765 - 1820. NY: Harcourt, Brace Jovanovich, 1971)

By 1625, ten slaves were listed in the first census of Jamestown. The first public slave auction of 23 individuals, disgracefully, was held in Jamestown square itself in 1638

1640
Whipping and branding, borrowed from Roman practice via the Iberian-American colonies, appeared early and with vicious audacity. One Virginian slave, named Emanuel, was convicted of trying to escape in July, 1640, and was condemned to thirty stripes, with the letter "R" for "runaway" branded on his cheek and "work in a shackle one year or more as his master shall see cause." Charles P.M. Outwin, Securing the Leg Irons: Restriction of Legal Rights for Slaves in Virginia and Maryland, 1625 – 1791,

One characteristic which set American slavery apart was its racial basis. In America, with only a few early and insignificant exceptions, all slaves were Africans, and almost all Africans were slaves. This placed the label of inferiority on black skin and on African culture. In other societies, it had been possible for a slave who obtained his freedom to take his place in his society with relative ease.

In America, however, when a slave became free, he was still obviously an African. The taint of inferiority clung to him. Not only did white America become convinced of white superiority and black inferiority, but it strove to impose these racial beliefs on the Africans themselves. Slave masters gave a great deal of attention to the education and training of the ideal slave, In general, there were five steps in molding the character of such a slave: strict discipline, a sense of his own inferiority, belief in the master's superior power, acceptance of the master's standards, and, finally, a deep sense of his own helplessness and dependence. At every point this education was built on the belief in white superiority and black inferiority. Besides teaching the slave to despise his own history and culture, the master strove to inculcate his own value system into the African's outlook. The white man's belief in the African's inferiority paralleled African self hate.

CALL ME JEREMIAH

The world is in a big mess. That isn't news. It just needs to be said. The worst criminals control governments, finance, industry - just about everything, including religious institutions.

The worst criminals attend churches, mosques and synagogues, bowing and scraping and singing to the Creator while they continue robbing, poisoning, pimping and killing.

No one wants to speak out. Ordinary folks feel - and are - so powerless that we have numbed ourselves and do not even allow ourselves to think about these things. Sodom and Gomorrah were just symbols of what was yet to come - our world today.

A doom and gloom message ? On Christmas Day !  Shame on me for speaking the awful truth. Call me Jeremiah.

Or call me Diogenes as I earnestly seek leaders who have justice written on their minds and hearts and only need a great public outcry to cause them to step up to the proverbial plate and save us all - not in some ethereal paradise, but here on this one and only precious Earth.

TREES HAVE FEELINGS.
CTV's report that trees produce a stress hormone called Ethylene when they are injured should open some people's minds on the question of whether only animal life has feelings. Perhaps rocks have no feelings, but wherever there is life, there is a longing to live. So dogs, cats, bulls, and even trees should be considered worthy of our consideration and kindness. So, yes, hug a tree, even if some people scoff.

MOTHER FEARED DAWN MCSWEENEY

Reviewing some files this morning, I came upon a note written to me by my mother while I was living at 4995 Prince of Wales, Montreal between 1994, and 1996, when I was attacked and robbed. I was under treatment for cancer and living on welfare at the time.

" For Phyllis here is a $20 for you

Mom
Thanks "

Then, quickly scribbled in her own hand, a smaller note says,

" Sh  Sh
Say nothing !
Mom "

I had completely forgotten about this message until I came across it this morning.

My mother was afraid of Dawn McSweeney and her "partner in crime", Alex Lavergne, who had suddenly moved in with us at the beginning of October, 1996,  just days before I was attacked and robbed - with the help of a Montreal Policeman.

All the details of the crimes are reported at
http://dawnmcsweeney.blogspot.com.

Our mother was kept in total isolation by the "partners in crime" - as Dawn McSweeney proudly calls them on her own blog - from the time I was attacked and removed from my home by the Montreal Police without any legal procedure whatsoever on October 7, 1996, until her death in 2007.

After my mother's death, we learned that the partners in crime had made a new will in our mother's name - Leonie Feldman Rubin - in 2005 - when she was 92 years of age. She had been mentally and physically handicapped for many years and she had been totally under the control of Dawn McSweeney and the "partners in crime" for a decade.

Our mother's life was in the hands of Dawn McSweeney and her partners in crime because the Montreal Police refused to investigate. Our mother had no friends and Dawn McSweeney had alienated all the family. When our mother disappeared from her home, the police refused my pleas that they investigate.

The bizarre new will eliminated all the heirs - children and grandchildren - specifically named in the wills my parents had made. Only Debbie McSweeney, Dawn McSweeney and a stranger named Kenneth Gregoire Prud'homme benefited from the will made by the partners in crime.

Here are some of the articles included in the archive.

HAPPY TREE GURU STOLE CHRISTMAS

It is said that the Grinch stole Christmas.

Dawn McSweeney stole mine and destroyed my family.

For all the details, see
THE DAWN MCSWEENEY ROBBERY at

It is always darkest after Dawn.

HOW THE MONTREAL POLICE STOLE CHRISTMAS

MONTREAL POLICE HELPED DAWN MCSWEENEY STEAL CHRISTMAS

I am a 74 year old Canadian journalist, widow, cancer patient and crime victim.

The same thing that happened to Mrs. Pat Burns happened to me.

I was attacked and robbed in my home. While holding off my assailant, I managed to call 911.

The police I called to rescue me - helped the thief instead !

I have been fighting for the return of my precious belongings for fourteen years.

My family has spent fourteen Christmases as crime victims of Dawn McSweeney and her "partners in crime", victims of the Montreal Police we expected to rescue us.

But Montreal Police officer helped the thief, Dawn McSweeney, rob me, so I am still waiting for the Montreal Police to try to recover my belongings.

Member of Parliament, Marlene Jennings, stated twice at public meetings in 2008, "Mrs. Carter's rights were violated three times."

But the Montreal Police still refuse to take any action against the thief and those she proudly calls her "partners in crime" on her own blog or to make any serious attempt to recover everything Dawn McSweeney stole from me and from my parents and siblings.

You see, the difference between me and Pat Burns' wife is that I am not rich or famous and, in, my case, the Montreal Police helped the thief.

THE BITTER FRUIT OF DAWN MCSWEENEY

Sequel to TRUTH AND FEAR - WHY DAWN MCSWEENEY HATES ME

The founder of Wikileaks is a wanted criminal as I write this. Whatever his true motives, authorities all over the world are seeking to silence him - because truth is a rare and dangerous thing that upsets those accustomed to lying.

My nights are filled with anguish as I remember the robbery that tore my family apart. No sooner do I turn off the television and try to fall asleep than the memories of Dawn McSweeney's crimes close in on me and my soul cries out for justice. I am driven to report Dawn's crimes in precise detail in the hope of finding one honourable person in authority in Canada who cares more for justice than for money or power. I have been searching for that person, like Diogenes, for fourteen years.

I have been ostracized for pursuing justice in this case. People who should be fighting by my side have distanced themselves. The truth frightens them so much that they prefer to sacrifice what is rightfully theirs rather than come forward and report what they know. Ask them directly and they will say they don't know anything - because telling the truth is risky. Having been robbed, they prefer to hold on to what they have left rather than fight for what has been stolen from them - and from others.

One who was also robbed by Dawn McSweeney sent me an email in a 32 font begging me to stop reporting Dawn's crimes. Why? Because someone might harm Dawn. No expression of concern about what Dawn has done to the writer of the email or to me or to my parents. No concern that the culprits or some madman might harm me.

I have done nothing but report the absolute truth for fourteen years. The Montreal Police who helped Dawn McSweeney rob me continue to ignore my pleas that they recover my stolen belongings and bring Dawn McSweeney - and those she proudly calls her "partners in crime" on her own blog - before a judge in criminal court.

If I have been telling anything but the truth for fourteen years, surely Dawn McSweeney and her partners in crime would have sued me long ago. But they have not. To do so would mean that they would have to appear in court and clearly, they do not want to see that day. I hunger for it.

Montreal Police detectives told me in March, 1997, that Dawn McSweeney and her partner, Alex Lavergne, both refused to take polygraph tests on advice of counsel. In a message on my blog, Alex Lavergne denies this. Who is lying, the Montreal Police or Alex Lavergne?

I have told the police that I will take a polygraph test at any time.

The truth. A woman I know who has a very responsible position in a Montreal hospital told me one day a few months ago that it is not always necessary to tell the truth. I was surprised to hear her say that. But I shouldn't have been. People in authority everywhere lie all the time. Truth is risky. People fear it. I am not above fear. I am a coward. I am afraid all the time. But I have a spirit that will not let me rest unless I tell the truth.

In the case against Dawn McSweeney, In October 1996, the Montreal Police at the Mariette Station told me that everything Dawn stole from me would be returned if I would just be patient.

In February, 1997, Dawn McSweeney's mother, my sister, Debbie, told me that all my belongings would be returned to me if I would be patient, but if I tried to get my things back without her, I would be responsible for killing my mother and my father. I was not patient, but I held back in the hope that my belongings would be returned to me. Now, fourteen years later, Dawn McSweeney is still free to enjoy all my possessions.

A Montreal Police officer helped Dawn McSweeney to rob me and, to this day, the Montreal Police still refuse to do anything to recover my belongings or to pursue a criminal case against Dawn McSweeney and her partners in crime. I believe there is just one reason why the police refuse to take any action in this case. It is has been one cover-up after another all the way up the Montreal Police ladder starting from the day the police officer helped Dawn rob me without any legal procedure and without any justification.

In March, 1997, Dawn McSweeney returned everything of mine that she did not want. She kept all my valuables and everything of sentimental value left to me by my beloved husband.

So, day and night, in spite of my ruined health, I write reports about Dawn McSweeney's crimes as I search for people who truly believe in truth and justice.

I have told the truth about Dawn McSweeney - but not the whole truth. All these years, I have kept silent about why Dawn McSweeney hated me so much. Yes, she was furious about my choosing to become a Christian. Yes, she was jealous of my place in my father's esteem. Yes, she was angry because I spoke out against her violent and crude behaviour when she was a teenager. But there is more and, to this day, I have withheld what is probably the underlying reason for her hatred. I have wrestled with this truth for a long time. It is hard to tell.

What have I not reported? Dawn's relationship with her father when she was a young girl. I will not elaborate here but I have reported what I know about it to the authorities today.

When I found out about it in 1992, I protested. Dawn's parents told me that I was "old fashioned" and I should mind my own business or I would no longer be welcome in their home. Dawn despised me for speaking out. And so was born the hatred that Dawn McSweeney satisfied by stealing everything I treasured - with the help of the Montreal Police.

Not only did the police give Dawn McSweeney carte blanche to steal everything of value that I owned, but the actions of the police in removing me from my home without any legal process or recourse, gave Dawn McSweeney the position she had envied all her life. She took my place in the family. She took over my aged parents' lives and all their property.

My parents were totally under the control of Dawn McSweeney and her entourage. There was nowhere for them to turn for help because all the rest of the family had been ostracized and alienated as a direct result of Dawn's lies and manipulations and, because of my mother's mental illness, they never had any friends.

When the police told me in March, 1997, to go to the house and ask for my jewellery, Dawn McSweeney stood inside the house laughing at me and mocking me as I stood crying and pleading on the icy steps. And then Dawn McSweeney called the police. The same officers who had just told me to go to the house and ask for my jewellery came and told me to leave. And Dawn McSweeney revelled in my loss and my humiliation. The Montreal Police gave Dawn McSweeney everything she ever wanted. My life.

Should I fear Dawn and her "partners in crime"? My struggle to get justice damaged my immune system. I have bone cancer. I am afraid all the time. But what are we if we let fear stop us from speaking the truth? No one is safe in a society where the police help thieves and crush their victims and where lying is accepted as normal.

DAWN MCSWEENEY - HATE MESSAGES, A COURT ORDER AND A WILL

  • HATE MESSAGES FROM THE PARTNERS IN CRIME

Immediately following the death of my mother, I found hate messages on my blog page for the first time.

Here are just a few of the messages sent to me by the "partners in crime". I learned months later that this is the work of Alex Lavergne, Dawn McSweeney's boyfriend at the time of the robbery. He uses the name The Ink.

I don't know how they post messages using my name on my own blog. They published my phone number (deleted here) and threatened to publish my address if I did not stop reporting the crimes. Alex suggests I stand on the railroad track and gloats over the report that I have cancer.
  •
  • Immediately following my mother's death in 2007, in order to try to intimidate, discredit and silence me, one of the partners in crime, a stranger named Kenneth Gregoire Prud'homme, made an application to have me declared insane and dangerous. Some of the comments in Alex Lavergne's hate messages were used in that application.
  •
  • We would learn later that this same Kenneth Gregoire Prud'homme had made a will in my mother's name when she was 92 years old in 2005. The only heirs in Prud'homme's will were Debby McSweeney and Dawn McSweeney. Prud'homme made himself the liquidator. All the true heirs named in my father's will - his children and grandchildren - were eliminated in Prud'homme's will.
  •
  • In four minutes, very shortly after my mother's death, a judge issued a court order against me - without ever speaking to me, with no medical report, with no witnesses except the partners in crime themselves. Montreal Police came and took me away to the Jewish General Hospital for a 30 day mental evaluation. I was transferred to the Royal Victoria Hospital along with other "mental patients". Once doctors there spoke to me and realized what had been done to me and why, I was released immediately and unconditionally. I had been kept in hospital as a dangerous lunatic for three days. Doctors who have known me for more than twenty-five years, suddenly treated me as a mental patient.
The Suburban Weekly newspaper reported on this on September 5, 2007  and September 12, 2007 under the titles: The Phyllis Carter Detention and
and Tribunal Took Four Minutes in Carter Detention.

Phyllis Carter Hates God .It has come to my attention that one Phyllis Carter of Montreal hates God and all that the bible stands for. She worships Satan by dancing around her cauldron of hate on all the Sacred days. I heard she ate bats wings for Christmas and laughed. She has been seen dancing naked on her own mothers grave while taking any number of foul drugs. How could this be? She's sick, sick, sick! That's how! Please be aware of the dangers from this evil woman, she may try to steal your babies and convert them to Satan!
In conclusion, Phyllis Carter BAD

(My phone number published, deleted here)

Of course you could always write to me at my home address but then you would all know where I live. I suppose I should just take down this silly site and move on with my life. If I don't take down the site I will surely put my address up here with instructions on how to find me... Maybe some nice pictures too.
Have a terrible day all.

PARTNER IN CRIME, ALEX LAVERGNE, REJOICES AT NEWS OF MY ILLNESS.

Dawn McSweeney's "partner in crime" Alex Lavergne - who also calls himself "theInk" - posted a comment on my blog on August 30, 2009. See below.

"My oncologist found that my blood calcium was dangerously high and I was so dehydrated that I was on saline drip and nutrients for days. I have since been diagnosed with bone cancer.

REWARD - ROBBERY - PRINCE OF WALES, MONTREAL

Most thieves want material items - money, jewellery. Dawn McSweeney wanted all that, but in this case, the thief also deliberately tore apart my family....

I'll make this simple for you. I never stole anything from you. Dawn never stole anything from you, and neither of us have anything to do with your younest sister and her boyfriend. Any hatred regarding your parents estate should be directed at Debbie. Take your meds and start seeing reality. If you can't, then I just want you to know that you wont get hurt if you try standing in front of a Train on the tracks by your place. So go on, try it.

PAT BURNS' WIDOW AND ME - Dawn McSweeney did the same thing to me that thieves have just done to Pat Burns' widow. I was 60 years old, newly widowed and fighting cancer when I was attacked and robbed. While fending off my attacker, I managed to call 911. The Montreal Police I called to rescue me - helped the thief instead.

The police will pursue the Pat Burns case because he was famous, but they refuse to take any action against Dawn McSweeney and those she proudly calls her "partners in crime" on her own blog.

For fourteen years, day and night, I have appealed to the Montreal Police and to members of government in Montreal, and Quebec, and Ottawa to take action against the thief, Dawn McSweeney and those she proudly calls her "partners in crime" on her own blog - and recover everything they stole from me and from my family. To this day, they do nothing.

MONTREAL POLICE - CATCH TWENTY-TWO

MONTREAL POLICE ABUSE CRIME VICTIMS WITH IMPUNITY

Montreal Police Catch 22

In March, 1997, the police told me they could not go into the house where I had lived and been robbed without a warrant. Then get a warrant. No, they couldn't ask for a warrant because, even though all my belongings were still in my home and everything was clearly marked with my name and inventory numbers and I had given them the seven page inventory and all the documents, they could not ask for a warrant because no judge would issue a warrant unless he could be sure beforehand that they would find my belongings there. And so it went. time after time after time - for fourteen years now. The Montreal Police have found endless excuses to do nothing. To this day, they have taken no action to recover my belongings or to bring Dawn McSweeney and her partners in crime to face justice in criminal court.

Oh Miki ! Thank you for writing. This has been such a lonely battle. It has cost me everything I worked for all my life, every gift given to me by my beloved husband and by friends. It has cost me my parents, my siblings and my health. It has cost me fourteen years of days and nights of torment. And it has cost me my faith in Canada and in heroes. And the Montreal Police - do nothing. But I keep on telling the world the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. So I have not lost my Self.

    MONTREAL COPS STILL COPPING OUT

From the moment I was attacked and called 911 on October 7, 1996, the Montreal Police started helping the thieves, Dawn McSweeney and those she so proudly calls her "partners in crime" on her own blog.

First, the policeman I expected to rescue me took me out of my home - physically by my arm - first telling me, in front of my assailant, that I could not take any of my belongings with me and I must never return home for any reason.

I was 60 years old and fighting cancer. The police left me alone in the street in front of the house without as much as a coat and they just drove away. Everything I owned was left in the house with Dawn McSweeney and her boyfriend, Alex Lavergne. And the police who were supposed to save me never even filed a report.

This was done to me without any legal process before or afterward, and with no justification.

Then, at the Mariette Police Station, the police told me that all my belongings would be returned to me if I would just be patient. So I tried to be patient and reasonable. My sister Debbie - Dawn McSweeney's mother - told me that all my things would be returned to me - if I would be patient - but if I did anything to try to get my things back on  my own, I would be responsible for killing my mother and my father. So I tried to be patient.

When Dawn McSweeney returned all my jewellery boxes - empty - in mid-March, 1997, the police at the Mariette station told me to go to the house and ask for my jewellery.

So I went to the house where I had lived for two years and where I had been robbed - and I stood on the icy steps pleading for my belongings and crying my heart out.

And Dawn McSweeney stood in the doorway and mocked me and laughed at me - and then she called the police. And those same two officers who had just told me to go to the house and ask for my jewellery quickly arrived at the house and told me to leave. The woman officer said she didn't want to have to arrest me. I begged her to arrest me since they would not arrest the thief. At least then, we could go to court. But finally, to keep the peace and be the good guy, I left - in the hope that the police would finally help me recover my belongings. But they never even tried.

Montreal Police Catch 22.

In the summer, I learned that Dawn had a friend who was operating a jewellery store on Prince Arthur, I reported that to Det.Sgt. Sylvie Laverdiere. She  told me to go out and investigate myself and report my findings to her.

So I drove out to Prince Arthur and made inquiries and I wrote a detailed report to Sylvie Laverdiere. Laverdiere went to the house and standing outside on the front steps, the detective asked Dawn McSweeney for my Borg coat. And Dawn McSweeney gave her my Borg coat. And Det. Sgt. Laverdiere never did another thing to recover all my belongings from the thief.

And so it went. time after time after time - for fourteen years now.  The Montreal Police have found endless excuses to do nothing. To this day, they have taken no action to recover my belongings or to bring Dawn McSweeney and her partners in crime to face justice in criminal court.

But I still fight day and night for what is my own and for the return of my father's property to the heirs individually named in his own will - all his children and grandchildren.

And the Montreal cops keep copping-out.

NO PEACE NIGHT OR DAY FOR ANYONE UNTIL JUSTICE IS DONE

MONTREAL POLICE HELPING THE THIEF, DAWN MCSWEENEY

    http://shop.ebay.com/i.html?_kw=silver&_kw=large&_kw=earrings&_kw=black&_kw=onyx#

These earrings I copied from ebay look exactly like the ones I bought at Birks in the early 1970's that Dawn McSweeney stole. These are selling at a low price. I paid much more for mine. They are but one item among seven pages of inventory Dawn McSweeney stole from me on October 7, 1996.

No amount of money can replace the precious things Dawn McSweeney stole from me, I was widowed, sick with cancer, homeless and hungry, but I would never have sold those precious gifts. They are worth more than any amount of money to me. And Dawn McSweeney just stole them - with the help of the Montreal Police.

In March, 1997, when Dawn McSweeney returned all my jewellery boxes  - empty -and the boxes that contained my files, I gave the Montreal Police all the documents to prove my ownership. Seven pages of detailed inventory made at 4995 Prince of Wales, two days before I was attacked, robbed and evicted by the Montreal Police without any legal process or any justification. There were hand drawn sketches and descriptions of every item. A description of where I obtained each item. I gave the Montreal Police detectives the insurance papers, insurance photographs, invoices, appraisals by Henry Segal of Somerled Jewellers and much more evidence to prove that the things that Dawn McSweeeny stole were mine. There was even a letter from my grandmother written in Toronto in my father's presence where she wrote that she was giving me her dinner ring.

But the Montreal Police made absolutely no effort to recover my belongings which were still in my home at 4995 Prince of Wales at that time.

And the Montreal Police continue to refuse to take any action against the thieves. Why? There can only be one reason: They are still covering for the Montreal Police officer who helped the thief to rob me.

Because the Montreal Police refused repeatedly to take any action against Dawn McSweeney and her partners in crime, they went on to steal everything my father had worked for all his life. Not only did Dawn McSweeney rob us of all our precious belongings, she tore our family apart, and now she writes flowery poetry and she teaches Yoga at Happy Tree Yoga in Montreal, and Dawn McSweeney, the thief, calls herself a Guru.

And the Montreal Police do nothing.

    NO PEACE WITHOUT JUSTICE

I will keep fighting for the return of my belongings night and day to my very last breath.

To this day, November 27, 2010, the Montreal Police refuse to make any effort to recover what Dawn stole from me and from my family.

All the details of these crimes are open to the world in the archives at
