MR. PARIZEAU - GO HOME !

I don't know if it was by chance or design that Jacques Parizeau ended up in the Jewish General Hospital, but the news of this event has stimulated a lot of thought as expressed by some Gazette readers -  "Ver gezunt, M. Parizeau, get well." (The Gazette, April 8, 2010)

How clever ! Knowing this man's impressive intellect and also his record of contempt for those who are not "pure laine" Quebecers, it would seem a very calculated move if he were to place himself in the Jewish General Hospital, where everyone would bend over backward to ensure that he is safe and well cared for, lest anything happen to him. His demise in this hospital might be the immediate catalyst for extremists to take revenge and even tear the country apart.

Get well soon, Mr. Parizeau, and get out of the Jewish General Hospital  - where, by the way, some of the best doctors are French Canadians. I know this because one of those doctors saved my life.

Phyllis Carter
