Thousands of students are protesting fee raises in the streets of downtown Montreal.
Common sense has no place in mass demonstrations or in politics. The students are having a field day.
The solution is obvious.
Canadian students should pay according to their means and according to their school record.
There have always been rewards for good students, and there is no excuse for caving in to the demands of those who just want to sit out the next few years in comfort instead of going to work.
