PHYLLIS CARTER SAYS - LET'S HAVE THE WHOLE TRUTH ABOUT THE FIRST NATIONS

I believe every person has a right to safe shelter, wholesome food, clean air and water, comfortable clothing, reliable medical care, and a satisfying and useful education.

In the case of Idle No More: It's a wonder it has taken so many years for this great uprising of the People. Your power cannot be denied. What have your people been waiting for all these years? One woman ready to starve for your rights? Ah! The great power of one individual to stand up for what is right and speak out and do what is needed at any cost for the sake of justice.

And, speaking of cost, what has happened to the money?

Native people tell me that money meant for the people has gone into the pockets of chiefs.

The Native People have great needs and the right to a decent life,

But the thieves must be exposed.
