NO JEWS, NO BLACKS WANTED HERE - IS JESUS AN EXCEPTION ? THE CHRISTIAN RIGHT

SOUTHERN CHRISTIAN REPUBLICANS
MISS SLAVERY

The so-called "Christian Right" is far from Christian. As I understand Christianity, those who profess to be Christians are people who believe Jesus is the Messiah, the genuine, authentic Son of God, or at least they believe he was special enough, good enough, exemplary enough, to accept, emulate or at least admire and respect.

Those who call themselves the "Christian Right" are so wrong. They would have hated Jesus. He was a Jew and common sense assures us that he was not Caucasian. He was not White Anglo-Saxon Protestant. Jesus was a Hebrew and he was born in the Middle East, not the Caucasus.

If Jesus came to the American South today, he might be accepted as a "token Jew" .... "Some of my best friends are ...."  or as a "house nigger", because he would be well-mannered and servile.

Jesus was not rich, and he would probably be considered a "liberal" today  - even a socialist. Oh! My heavens ! How would that go down with the Tea Party so-called "Christians"?

IS AMERICA A POST-RACIAL SOCIETY?

Not even close," says social justice advocate Angela Glover Blackwell. In this clip, Blackwell, founder and CEO of PolicyLink, a national research institute, says race "still controls everything in America" and a large number of people are being left behind because of the color of their skin.

"Race has become so embedded, and baked in, that people can walk around feeling that they're not carrying racism in their heart. But so long as they're okay with disproportionate incarceration, communities being left behind, children given no chance, this continues to be a society that is plagued by the legacy of the continuing impact of racism, right into today."
