THE BLOODY HOLY LAND

If there had not been so much bloodshed.

If there had not been so much intransigence.

If there had not been so much pain and bitterness.

If only.

Imagine the scene if the Palestinians and the Jews had gotten together and worked out a plan to divide the land and the water.

If they had arranged to work in co-operation.

If they had put all their resources, experience, knowledge, money, physical labour into building schools, hospitals, creating libraries, art galleries, theatres, planting orchards, instead of pouring all they had into machines of death.

Imagine.

It has not been done. Does that mean it can't be done?

In that case, everyone should commit suicide, because there is no hope.

Is that what you want for your children and grandchildren?

If not now, when? If not you, who will make the changes?

Is there anyone out there who will stop this train of destruction and say,

"Let's start NOW."

Not with committees and politics.

Not with endless delays and excuses and recriminations.

Just do it - NOW.

March past the extremists in both camps.

Go past them. Around them. Avoid them. Tie them up. Stop them.

Mothers, fathers:

Let not one more child bleed over who is the real God, who is the real land owner.

Choose life.
