NOT ALWAYS ROSIE AT THE JEWISH GENERAL HOSPITAL

If you find yourself a patient in the Emergency at the Jewish General Hospital in Montreal, chances are you will be very pleased with the care you receive.

But watch out for an orderly named Rosie. She is hyper, aggressive, disrespectful and if she pushes you in a wheelchair, as she did me, she yells loud in your ear.

If you ask her not to yell in your ear, she may tell you, as she did me, that is her natural voice.

I don't know what puts her nose out of joint, but she might also tell you, as she did me, that you stink.

If you aren't sick enough already, Rosie's manner will add to your distress. Try to survive anyway. Most of the care there is very good.
