    Museum Researcher-Curator Dr. Jeremy Maron interviewed Lieutenant-General Roméo Dallaire, UN leader of the Rwanda mission at the time, about how the world responded with indifference to repeated pleas for help.
    Due to the inaction from the global community, more than 800,000 people were killed. Lieutenant-General Dallaire wonders if perhaps a belief that "some humans are more human than others" determines whether we intervene in crisis situations or not.
    Lieutenant-General Dallaire's perspective provoked Maron to look at victims of violence with a new perspective and to discover a shared humanity in unexpected places.
